We have age-appropriate classes and activities for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Trained volunteers and staff have submitted to criminal background checks and reference checks. At First Baptist Church of Fountain Hills, we believe in giving our youngest learners a hands-on approach to learning Scriptures. We want our children to feel welcome and to experience the true love of Jesus through worship, stories, crafts, and teacher-guided playtime. We want parents to know we value truth and understanding that is taught in a safe and secure environment.
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
- Matthew 19:14
The purpose of our Children's Ministry at First Baptist Church of Fountain Hills (FBCFH) is to lay a biblical foundation at an early age and continue it throughout the child's life to adulthood. As the foundation is laid, the goal is for each child to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord of their life.
Our mission is to partner with children's families to provide spiritual teaching for salvation in Jesus Christ for discipleship and evangelism. We carry out this mission by providing opportunities for children and their families to learn about God by using the Bible and fun, multi-sensory activities at the child's developmental level. We also desire to provide additional opportunities for families to serve God together as we walk along this journey of faith.
Throughout every ministry activity, we provide a safe, secure, friendly, and fun learning environment for ALL. Our volunteers and teachers have been trained in child protection and safety policies in addition to having been received a background checked. This comprehensive process supports our goal of having our children learn in a safe and supportive environment.
Each program and event provided for children is a Bible-based and designed to help children learn about God and how to apply that knowledge to their daily lives. Each program is led by dedicated Christian teachers that realize that this responsibility is biblical and directed by God.
Our programs are scheduled as follows:
- Sunday School: 9:00 – 10:00 AM
- Kids Church: 11:00 AM – Noon (Sundays)
- TeamKID: 5:30 – 7:00 PM on Wednesdays (during the school year)
We look forward to serving your family at FBCFH! Please feel free to contact us with any questions! God Bless you!
Come and experience transformation. From those wondrous days as a new seventh grader to those final moments as a high school senior, our youth group encourages a thoughtful exploration of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. We embrace conversations that are open and respectful, ideas that are true to the identity and work of God, and lifestyles that show following Christ is a way of life.
Every youth who comes to First Baptist Church of Fountain Hills (FBCFH) has the potential to change the whole group, and God only knows what kind of difference that can make in our church and the overall community. This is a unique place, gathering teens from public, private, charter, and home schools. We see the immense value of keeping the whole group together, knowing there is much to be gained from positive peer relationships and encouraging connections beyond a student’s immediate grade.
Each Wednesday, our youth gathers for Bible Study from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm. We also spend time off-campus with our youth in-order-to fellowship, volunteer, and learn more about the kingdom of Christ. We encourage you to discover more about these weekly youth gatherings and fun retreats and begin to imagine how you or your youth can engage with this amazing community of future faith leaders. All students are welcome!

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” Romans 15:13
Our desire as a women’s ministry is to nurture and encourage the hearts of women to know God’s Word and follow faithfully after Christ demonstrating authenticity and love, connecting with one another, and providing opportunities for service within the church and the community. We will treasure Christ together through:

FIRST Family has an active men’s ministry. The men meet every Wednesday at 7:30 AM for a time of fellowship, breakfast, Bible study, and prayer. This is a unique time for men only to be able to share and pray for one another. The men’s ministry also gives money throughout the year to missions, to benevolence, and to support the different ministries of the church. All men are welcome and encouraged to join in being a part of this wonderful group of Christian brothers.
The Library at First Baptist has a great selection of Christian books, movies, and Bible commentaries. Patrons can check out books, movies, audiobook, or music CDs for three weeks at a time. Iglesia Bautista de Empalme, Mexico
The partnership began in 2003 with a focus on providing adequate building, transportation, supplies, and occasional volunteers to evangelize the area thru church, VBS, and community activities. The church has become self-sufficient and expanded into other areas and developing a Christian School. We have helped two seminary students to graduate and go on to assist in the church. We supported the Pastor in buying a home for his family. We also contribute financially with supplies for summer VBS and monthly for Christian School costs.
Assists retired ministers and spouses who faithfully served small churches and were unable to receive retirement benefits. The monthly donations enable them to buy their medicines, food, pay utilities, etc. All giving goes directly to the recipients. 60% of those served are widows, one in four are over 85, and they receive between $225 - $600/month depending on years of service and need.
Efren and Rosa Burciaga – Bridge Torre Fuerte Church
This is a recent church plant in 2019 to minister primarily to the local Hispanic community in Mesa, AZ. They meet in a local church building, Longmore Road Baptist Church, for Sunday services, have a fellowship meal following, and are developing Children’s activities like VBS.
